ISO 9001:2015 Certification
ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system, aiming to allow Visser Precision to:
- Demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer requirements, plus applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the Quality Management System. This includes processes for improvement of the system, as well as the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable requirements, both applicable and regulatory.

The International Traffic in Arms Regulations, ITAR, is a collection of strict regulations that controls both the export and import of articles, services, and technology on the United States Munitions List (USML).
In order to be compliant, Visser Precision has designed and implemented a dedicated security policy that reflects the latest ITAR developments and compliance requirements, which includes both physical and network security. Visser Precision is committed to continually updating the security policy and also has a detailed response plan in the event of a data breach.
Precision Inspection Tools & Machinery
Visser Precision has invested in the tools and people necessary to verify production. Visser Precision’s machinists, inspectors, programmers, project managers, and engineers are relentless in their pursuit of quality. Visser Precision utilizes CMMs, optical equipment, roamer arms, and manual gaging to ensure complete accuracy in every step of the process, including:
- Zeiss 3 axis CMM Prismo MASS (900mm x 700mm x 1200 mm)
- Atos Bluelight Scanner
- (2) Romer Absolute CMM
- Mitutoyo Quadracheck Shadowgraph
- 4mm Neck Boroscope
- Tesa Height Gauge
- Full manual inspection tools and gauges
Visser Precision routinely uses an in-house microscopy lab to verify acceptable density of grown and cast products in the additive manufacturing (3D printing) and amorphous metal departments. This microscopy lab is also critical for assessing the impacts of process parameter changes to determine exposure settings for additive manufacturing material development, as well as examining the effects of heat treatment on microstructure.
